Wow! It has been a LONG time since I have gotten behind the camera. A vacation with my family was the perfect opportunity to get back into the swing on things. It was such a great time up in Traverse City and at the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Michigan redeems itself every year :).

As most everyone viewing my blog probably knows, my sister is a super talented photographer. They are moving to Michigan (WOO HOO!!!) after living in Kentucky for the last couple years. Shelley and AJ {Expecting!}

AJ has been a friend of mine since diapers! Our parents went to college together and every summer we vacationed with my parent's college friends and their kids. Some of my best memories from my childhood are from trips I took with this gang. This coming summer we are all taking a trip together, something we haven't done in years. I can't wait! Below is AJ's wife, Shelley. She is just the sweetest girl! I am so happy for AJ and Shelley as they are expecting their first child any week now. Little Kyla should be here in no time! Congratulations to my dear friends!
